With Spring a Leak, The Wilders have yet again laid down the perfect sound and feel of the old honky tonks of the 1940s and 50s. Simply put, they’ve “done got it.” From country classics like Roger Miller’s “Kansas City Star” to obscure fiddle tunes like “Old Leather Bonnet with a Hole in the Crown”, Ike Sheldon (lead vocals, guitar), Betse Ellis (fiddle, vocals), Phil Wade (dobro, mandolin, banjo, vocals), and Nate Gawron (string bass, vocals) breathe life into forgotten gems with unbridled energy and skill, matching the emotion and vigor that they bring to their must-see live shows. Originally released in 2003, this newly re-mastered recording also features three rare bonus tracks!
